PVDF Solar PV Backsheet Grade

PVDF is an outdoor material with the best comprehensive performance among fluoropolymers. It has a high melt index, good mechanical strength and toughness. The resin has excellent acid and alkali resistance, excellent heat resistance, and high mechanical strength. And abrasion resistance, especially with excellent weather resistance. It is suitable for the preparation of PVDF membrane materials through the dissolution casting process. HAJ602 is widely used in solar cell (photovoltaic) backsheets. Solar backsheets generally have a three-layer structre (PVDF/PET/PVDF), and the outer protective layer PVDF has good resistance  to environmental corrosion.

Precautions for Use

① PVDF should not be processed and used at temperatures higher than 350℃ to prevent the decomposition of toxic gas. Care should be taken to prevent inhalation of dust during use.

② PVDF has good flame retardant and smoke suppression properties, but when exposed to an open flame, it will release toxic hydrogen fluoride gas and fluorocarbon organic compounds. Operators should take personal protection when using and processing.

Transportaion

According to the non-dangerous goods transportation, the transportation process should avoid being subjected to the heat, moisture or the violent vibration.

Storage

Polyvinylidene fluoride resin should be stored in a cool, dry and ventilated place. Avoid direct sunlight, and should beisolated from fire sources and away from heat sources.
